Safety is important

Creating and maintaining a safe environment in dance classes is essential for both physical and emotional well-being. When dancers feel secure, they are more likely to engage fully, embrace challenges, and develop their skills in a supportive atmosphere. Our foundation of safety enhances individual progress and strengthens the sense of community in our classes.

Our safety protocols

Safety at AIM happens in a number of ways.

Studios:

  • clean studios with well-maintained equipment
  • all spaces are ADA compliant
  • acrobatics spotting apparatus and mats
  • video monitors and viewing windows

Lobby:

  • secure and private restroom/changing facilities
  • monitored entrances/exits
  • fire suppression equipment in all spaces
  • zero-tolerance policy for the presence of anyone listed in the SORI registry

Staff:

  • physical touch is only engaged with permission
  • detailed emergency evacuation protocols
  • CORI/SORI checks for all staff

In addition, our staff receives continued training in dance education, First Aid/CPR, and abuse prevention.
