Safety is important
Creating and maintaining a safe environment in dance classes is essential for both physical and emotional well-being. When dancers feel secure, they are more likely to engage fully, embrace challenges, and develop their skills in a supportive atmosphere. Our foundation of safety enhances individual progress and strengthens the sense of community in our classes.
Our safety protocols
Safety at AIM happens in a number of ways:
- clean studios with well-maintained equipment
- all spaces are ADA compliant
- acrobatics spotting apparatus and mats
- video monitors and viewing windows for studios
- secure and private restroom/changing facilities
- monitored entrances/exits
- physical touch is only engaged with permission
- fire suppression equipment in all spaces
- detailed emergency evacuation protocols
- CORI checks for all staff
In addition, our staff receives continued training in dance education, First Aid/CPR, and abuse prevention.
