Job Title: Dance Faculty (instructor)
Description: The dance faculty at AIM offer weekly instruction in dance technique, artistry, and athletic performance. Instructors prepare lessons to provide comprehensive group instruction, while also offering individualized attention to ensure every dancer succeeds. Our seasonal classes run September 2022-June 2023, culminating in a performance. Instructors are required to create an original piece of choreography for each class and assist in the production of the performance. Work with our Youth Ensemble, Momentum, and private instruction opportunities may also be available. Faculty are provided with dedicated time blocks each week in our brand new studios that are equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, bluetooth enabled sound equipment, and cross training materials. Additional opportunities for teacher training and ongoing education are offered annually.
Currently, we are seeking those with specializations in preschool/creative movement, beginner (grades 1-3) jazz, tap, and ballet, int/adv ballet and pointe, and world dance styles.
A minimum 2 years experience in dance education required, and a degree in dance and/or education is preferred. This is an in-person position with no remote or work-from-home option, currently. Contract is for one season (Sept 2022-June 2023) and can be renewed annually. Pay rate is commensurate with experience.

Job Title: Office Staff
Description: The AIM Office Staff will serve as a liaison between the lobby guests/parents and the AIM administration. They will be available in the lobby to greet families and to assist in the daily flow of students to and from class. They will assist with family registration, receiving and applying payments to family accounts, costume organization/distribution, social media marketing, and community outreach. Some light cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, cleaning glass) will be needed each week.
No experience necessary, on site training is offered. Knowledge of Google Office Suite, Canva, Instagram, Mailchimp and Facebook are preferred. This is an in-person position with no remote or work-from-home option, currently. This is an open position with no contract dates. Pay rate begins at $15/hr.

Job Title: Guest Artist
Description: AIM Guest Artists contribute to the vibrancy and diversity of of our educational offerings by providing classes that fall outside of our regular season’s studies. These classes can be in any style of dance, but should offer our students a new perspective on movement. Our Guest Artists are professionals in their field and come with a wealth of knowledge to share. We expect that Guest Artists come with a strong vision for their class time and provide a robust experience. Past Guests have offered classes in improvisation and embodied movement, Rockette Style precision jazz, Bill Evans Modern Technique, and cross training for dancers. All guests are provided ample marketing of their class to our entire AIM community, professional studio space, and equipment to make their classes run smoothly. We are happy to film your work for archival purposes as well. We invite regional as well as national artists to become our Guest Artists and await your proposal!
